Who are we?
We are Carla Longo and Victoria Jackson, both in our fourth year at St Andrews. Carla studies Classics and Comparative Literature, while Victoria studies History. We met in our first year and quickly bonded over a shared love of adventure, films, and of course, mountains. We have shared many hikes, from the Italian Alps to, as you can see in this picture, the Scottish Highlands.
Looking ahead, we are excited to continue our research into ecocriticism and to explore creative ways of communicating history that feel engaging and meaningful. And somewhere along the way, we hope to fit in a walk along el Camino de Santiago too. You can usually find us around town, and we would love it if you stopped us to share your thoughts about the project!
